After the Count of Monte Cristo, GONZO adapts another literal classic into an anime--this time it's William Shakespeare's immortal tale of conflict and love, Romeo & Juliet.

Set in what is Neo Verona, the city in the sky once prospered under Duke Capulet--until the Montagues usurped power by staging a bloody coup and murdering the Capulets. Now, 14 years later, Juliet is the last remaining bloodline in the Capulet family, and vows to fight Duke Montague and his oppressive aristocracy as the masked crusader, Odin. Romeo is the Duke's young son who is beginning to question his father's ironfist rule over the city.

When the two children of Neo Verona's feuding families fall in love, they find themselves torn between their love for each other and their duties to uphold the honour of their families...

OIZAKI Fumitoshi directs the series. Veteran screenwriter YOSHIDA Reiko is the script supervisor, while; character design is by HARADA Hiroki. The series' music is composed by SAKIMOTO Hitoshi (Final Fantasy Tactics, Gravius V, Densetsu no Orge Battle, Final Fantasy XII etc), and is performed by the 80-piece Eminence Symphony Orchestra.

Famed Korean songstress Rena Park sings the theme song, Inori~You Raise Me Up.
