Long ago, a great race called the "Golden Race" beckoned the other races to leave their planets for the stars. To those who answered their call, they gave them a different title each: "Silver Race", "Bronze Race" and "Heroic Race". Finally, they came upon a human craft that had crash-landed on the planet Olon and named humanity the "Iron Race".

Years have passed and wars have raged across the galaxy. The Silver Race rules over the Bronze Race, and now sets their sights on the human race. Threatened with extinction, Queen Deianeira acts on a prophecy by the Golden Race and sets out for the Olon in the intergalactic ship, Argonaut, in the hope of finding humanity's saviour.
